On Sunday, August 16, the Hotel on Wolfe Island's beloved weekly Sunday Roast gets a shot of live flamenco, as Fin de Fiesta Flamenco brings the fire, rhythm, and soul of flamenco music and dance to the Kingston area. A 20-minute ride from downtown Kingston, the Hotel's lakeside dining room is exactly the kind of intimate, up-close setting tablao flamenco was made for.

Founded in 2013 in Seville, Spain by Canadian flamenco artists Lia Grainger (dance) and guitarist Dennis Duffin (guitar), Fin de Fiesta Flamenco has been bringing authentic live flamenco music and dance to audiences across North America and Europe for more than a decade. Grainger and Duffin are joined onstage by Montreal-based Spanish singer Alvaro Echanove. Individually, they are each recognized as masters of the medium, and are all award-winning artists who have toured the world.

Fin de Fiesta has a long and storied touring performance history, and has performed at festivals and theatres across Canada and Europe, from the banks of the Seine in Paris, to the shores of Georgian Bay, to the theatres and playhouses of Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver. Their story and performances have been celebrated in the pages of Toronto Star, The National Post, the Vancouver Sun, The Province, The Georgia Straight and other major publications.
