Lynn Miles is one of Canada’s most accomplished singer/songwriters. She has a
JUNO award, 2 JUNO nominations, and 6 Canadian folk music awards. Her 16th album “Tumbleweedyworld was released in February 2023 It received glowing reviews in North America and Europe. Lynn is a album producer for other artists, a songwriting coach, and public speaker. She has toured in 16 countries and is currently plotting her next artistic adventure.
Proceeds from this concert will go towards
the Crossroads United Church and Our Livable Solutions (OLS)
sleeping cabin community project, located alternately in Portsmouth Harbour and Centre 70. As part of its social justice commitment, the congregation of Crossroads United Church located across from the Kingston Centre has voted to negotiate a land lease for $1 a year with Our Livable Solutions (OLS), the operator of the sleeping cabin program. The cabins would occupy a portion of an underused lot at the rear of the church. A service module structure with washrooms, laundry and kitchen facilities would be added to form a new self-contained community called “Crossroads Village”.
