Join Jam for Justice for this beginner music production workshop for youth ages 14-24.
Ready to make some noise? KFPL has teamed up with Queen's University's Jam for Justice to host this beginner-friendly music production workshop for youth ages 14-24.
No experience? No problem! This program is designed for total beginners to learn the fundamentals of building a track, layering beats, and mixing music.
Please note that we will be using Soundtrap software in order to use existing samples for music mixing. Participants will be required to set up a free account on both with their own email address.
Bring your own laptop or tablet and headphones if you can.
Registrants will have an opportunity to request devices, headphones, and assistance setting up accounts on Soundtrap during the registration process if needed.
