The group was established in September 2016 and has continued to evolve ever since, meeting both on line and in person. The group's repertoire includes a mix of Hawaiian, classical, folk, rock, pop, and country pieces.
In 2022 the ensemble was awarded 1st Place in the ukulele division of the KumuKahi Ukulele and Hula Festival in Las Vegas and they have been showcased at the past 5 NAMM Shows in Anaheim, California and were featured on stage in 2023 with internationally renowned performers, The Wooten Family.
The Legacy Ensemble’s mandate is to model life-long learning and to inspire adults to embrace life-long learning through music. Come, hear, and be inspired!
