About Lyle Lovett
Lyle Lovett (born 1 November 1957) is an American country singer-songwriter. He’s released more than a dozen albums and 25 singles to date, and has won four Grammy Awards. Lovett’s music is typically classified as Country, but his work encompasses folk, Texas swing, blues, jazz and gospel as well as more traditional country and western stylings. His live performances are thoughtful, engaging, and truly one of a kind.
On his reputation as a man of politesse, Lovett has this to say: "That’s true, but tipping your hat to a lady is just good form. If you’re at a dinner table, you’d most certainly take your hat off, cowboy hat or otherwise."
