Alick Mac is a rapper, singer and songwriter based in the Comox Valley. His style is defined by his honest, vulnerable songwriting, evidenced by his award-winning single “Easier to Shout”, which tackles masculinity. Another distinguishing feature of Alick’s artistry is his versatility, demonstrated by recent releases “500 Days”, a soft melancholic piano ballad and “6 Feet Deep”, a soulful boom-bap track which blends energetic flows with hard-hitting punchlines.
In 2024 Alick finished as the 2nd place winner of the Music in Motion Canada Awards. In May 2025, Alick won the Zattzoo Project Battle of the Bands in Port Alberni. The following month he performed at “Lillaby Festivalen”, a music festival in the South of Sweden. Alick is an experienced performer, having featured in multiple festivals and been an opening act for the likes of Bankrol Hayden and Terrell Safadi. Alick’s other accolades include finishing as a runner up in the Shipyards Got Talent awards in North Vancouver in both August 2024 and 2025.
