Event Description
The Israeli Chamber Project returns to the Isabel with the celebrated violinist Antje Weithaas in their first joint North American tour. At the centre of the program is Yuval Shapiro's chamber arrangement of Beethoven's Eroica Symphony, commissioned by the ensemble. Bernard Herrmann, renowned composer of several of Alfred Hitchcock's most beloved film scores, opens the program with his evocative travelogue, Souvenir de Voyage, which will be followed by Erwin Schulhoff's jazz-tinged Sonata for Flute and Piano.
