Back to the Park! Our music series has a bunch of great days still ahead of us.
August.24.2025
4pm Frank Ryan - Born and raised in Dublin, Ireland. Brought up on a wide range of music from The Beatles and Bob Dylan, to Aretha Franklin and Stevie Wonder, he was inspired to pick up the guitar and sing. By his mid teens, he was performing all over Dublin’s notorious bar scene. Finishing off his formative years working as a session musician in London, England, he then set off for North America.
After working as a musician in Toronto and New York, he began to explore the continent, finding his voice as he moved through bars, clubs, and roadhouses. He ventured west to Los Angeles, where he continued to hone his craft. Through blending the blues and soul of his life with subtle homage to his musical heroes, he has crafted a sound that is all his own.
3pm Jon McLurg - singer-songwriter based in Kingston, Ontario. Jon has been a staple of the local folk music scene for more than 15 years as a solo performer and member of Turpin’s Trail, Crooked Wood, and The Goodnight Irenes.
2pm Mellow Lily - With over 15 years of experience in the music industry, her confidence and passion for her quickly excelling career shows both in her performances and in the studio. Her musical talent has sparked the interest of many industry reps, and in 2024, she signed a distribution deal with Radar Love Records, owne by five time Juno Award winner, Michael Hanson.
Throughout her career, she has had the opportunity to open for many talented musicians, including Grammy Award nominees, Della Mae, Canadian country musician Crystal Shawanda, and Canadian Folk Music award winner, Abigail Lapell. With a quickly developing career, and performances scheduled for the new year, Mellow Lily is the new up and coming musical act you won’t want to miss!
