Richie Young is based in the city of Fredericton, New Brunswick. His music is largely inspired by the rock music of the 1960s and 1970s. Richie is a one man band bringing you the heat with his voice, guitar, harmonica and keys all simultaneously while carrying the beat with his feet on a bass drum and custom designed snare that he fabricated with his own bare hands.
He spent 2019 touring Ontario, playing festivals such as Harvest Jazz and Blues, Evolve, and the Living Roots Festival. He is a regular in the New Brunswick music scene and can be found playing many clubs and halls around the province. If you have not seen Richie perform yet do yourself a favour and get out to one of his shows!
