The night kicks off with an Open Mic, where up-and-coming comics and bold first-timers hit the stage with their freshest (or weirdest) material. You never know what you’re going to get—but it’s always a good time. Performers get in free—just show up and sign up!

Then, the spotlight turns to our headliner: Syd Bosel. Syd delivers the kind of comedy that feels like she’s reading your diary out loud—if your diary included “adult” kids, menopause meltdowns, breast cancer survival, and the other wild joys of midlife.

She’s a regular on CBC’s The Debaters, a featured performer at the 2025 Winnipeg Comedy Festival, and was named one of The Georgia Straight’s “Vancouverites to Watch.” Syd has toured comedy clubs across BC, headlines with Joker’s Canada and Comedy Misfits, and has shared the stage with Maria Bamford, Deborah DiGiovanni, and more.
