Event Description

A New Live + Livestream Local Kingston Music Concert Series


Homegrown Live presents a new, local concert series for 2021 and 2022 featuring 6 original-artist performances both in person and online via livestream.

The series includes six concerts live streamed on YouTube. Three performances will have a small live audience, and three will be strictly livestream only. Concerts will begin in September 2021 and conclude in March 2022.

The Homegrown Live Concert Series commences with a live performance in Confederation Park on September 4 by Fakejazz Orchestra and the Spencer Evans Trio.

In total, the six performances involve 22 Kingston-based musicians, presenting a diversity of musical styles and genres, including:

  • Friday, September 4, 2021: Fakejazz Orchestra and Spencer Evans Trio at Confederation Park

  • Friday, September 17, 2021: Julia Finnegan livestream from Roswell Rehearsals

  • Friday, October 1, 2021: Solomon Woodland at Renaissance

  • Sunday, December 5, 2021: Chantal Thompson at Renaissance

  • Friday, March 18, 2022: Sadaf Amini livestream

  • Subsequent dates to be announced soon
