Whether he is performing at Tootsie’s World Famous Orchid Lounge in Nashville or discovering song ideas in stories he hears from taxi cab drivers, Canadian music artist, John Kern is infusing modern-day country music with a lyrical approach that made the genre so famous in the 1990s.

The 30-year-old singer, songwriter, and piano player from Kingston, Ontario, has spent his entire life on stage entertaining crowds. As a teen, John teamed up with The Golden Voices Choir to back up legendary country artist Kenny Rogers for a Christmas special in Kingston. He has also performed in Toronto, Montreal, and Disney World in Orlando, Florida. John’s debut single, Bettin’ On Love, was released in 2016 in partnership with Daredevil Productions in Nashville.

Away from music, John is a fitness advocate and loves working out and playing billiards and basketball. He spends some of his time keeping up with the latest fashion trends and collects watches and hats. John also enjoys donating some of his time helping nonprofit organizations in the Ontario area.
