The Hotel Wolfe Island, formerly known as the General Wolfe Inn, is under new ownership. We’ve been transforming the Island’s historic landmark hotel and waterfront, creating a new home for sustainable, farm-to-table food and great live music, arts, and community events — rooted in the Island’s rich agricultural history and our growing creative community.
We’re committed to presenting the best in local and national/international touring artists in music, theatre, dance, DJ nights, and more, and fostering a thriving local arts scene.
The Hotel features three venues:
Main Restaurant — a spacious bar/restaurant with stage and PA, and backline including classic guitar amps and drums, Hammond organ and Fender Rhodes electric piano.
The Piano Room — a more intimate (but still spacious!) venue, ideal for jazz and folk shows, featuring a 1951 Steinway B grand piano. Visit our YouTube channel to watch “The Hotel Session” performances!
The Waterfront Patio — our outdoor restaurant patio, with a gorgeous view of the St. Lawrence river. Live music and other events are often held here, from late Spring to late Summer.
The Hotel Wolfe Island is co-owned by Hugh Christopher Brown, songwriter, vocalist, and keyboardist of legendary Canadian indie funk/soul band The Bourbon Tabernacle Choir, who has played with countless musicians, from The Tragically Hip to B.B. King, and produced dozens of albums through Wolfe Island Records.
