I'm a relatively new performer and songwriter currently involved with an improv group that my friend and I started with a rotating line up of 5 people as well as a 4-piece band consisting of myself and 3 other local Kingston musicians. I played 2 shows with a short lived metal band called "Blindsight", one of those times being for a charity fundraiser (OMA Queens). I played in a classical orchestra as a double bassist for 4 years and consider myself proficient when it comes to reading traditional music notation. My style of playing and solo compositions have been greatly inspired by musicians such as Marc Ribot, Terje Rypdal, Toby Diver, Nick Reinhardt, Weasel Walters, Matt Stober, and countless others. I hope to broaden my musical horizons and work with more experienced artists on both live performances of covers and also the creation of original music. I'm open to anything genre-wise and can dedicate the time and effort into performing pieces that require precision and expressiveness to execute successfully.
