War on Climate

Cool Reggae with a message! Thanks to Jory Kinjo and Geoff Hicks for conjuring a solid bed of rhythm that we can all rested on.

Look no further than Ukraine and Gaza. War is a carbon bomb that never stops exploding. War devastates communities, turning people into refugees and directly contributing to the Climate Emergency. Each act of war, from bullets to bombs, releases carbon emissions into the atmosphere. The US military, as the single largest polluter globally, significantly contributes to these emissions through weapons production, transportation, and deployment. The environmental impacts of conflict, including fires, deforestation, and sabotaged infrastructure, further exacerbate global warming. It is a tragic irony that in our pursuit of power and control over one another, we are essentially burning down our own home, endangering the planet and all life on it. Why do we burn our home?
