One Ground One Sound is hosting a special fundraising concert to provide emergency assistance for victims of the recent earthquakes in Venezuela. The event aims to direct 100% of proceeds to trusted individuals and organizations working on the ground to support families displaced by the disaster, more specifically Ventura Orbit.

On Wednesday, June 24, two powerful earthquakes measuring 7.2 and 7.5 on the Moment Magnitude Scale struck Venezuela's coastal region of La Guaira and the capital city of Caracas, causing widespread destruction and leaving thousands of people without homes, essential supplies, and access to basic services. The concert was organized in response to the urgent humanitarian needs facing affected communities.

The fundraiser will take place on Monday, July 27, at The Spire at 7:30pm and will feature performances by Larissa Koniuk, Geoffrey Sirett, Tim Stiff, Anna Sudac, Gisele Dalbec-Szczneiak, Jill Vitols, Mauricio Montecinos, and a number of special surprise guests.

The evening's headlining ensemble, The Levon Ichkhanian Group, will feature Levon Ichkhanian (guitar), Pat Kilbride (bass), David Atkinson (keyboards), and Wilson Laurencin (drums).

In addition to attending the concert, community members are invited to contribute donated items that can be used in support of the fundraising effort. Every contribution will help maximize the assistance delivered to those affected by the earthquakes.

One Ground One Sound brings together musicians, performers, and community supporters with a shared commitment to providing meaningful humanitarian aid and helping Venezuelan families begin the long process of recovery and rebuilding.
