From moshing to making memories: Arm's Length and friends inspire audience with an unforgettable show at Broom Factory
It’s not “We should do this again!” It’s “When are we doing this again?!”
KPP Concerts' musical line up at the Broom Factory in Kingston on Wednesday, July 8 was perfectly seasoned, starting off strong with Meathead from Toronto, who describe themselves as emo(ish). They brought the crowd together, bonding over a must be Canadian hit “Yeah, No, for Sure”. Meathead were followed by Mile End, who hit with a harder sound drifting us towards metal territory. Altogether head-banging, we let the moshing begin.

Arm’s Length, from Kingston's close sibling Belleville, were able to reconnect with some friends tonight. Showing off merch, they picked out their colleagues in the crowd and used that familiarity to fuel their performance. One crowd-surfing fan even had a designated sign for one of the band members. As this band gets bigger and bigger—playing gigs with bands like Sleeping With Sirens—I, for one, am glad I caught them at a local spot.

Arm's Length encouraged crowd surfing (which they'd cleared prior to their announcement) and the Broom Factory did a great job accommodating it with some experienced staff keeping an eye on the crowds wellbeing, and helping out when needed. We love to see it!

Tonight was a great line up, the curation of different sounds within the same wheel house is a tremendous idea and all the bands were on the same level of energy. I personally admire a mix of sounds that are so synergistically aligned.
To quote a friend when leaving, “We are doing this again!” A quote many others in attendance I’m sure could align with after experiencing their first crowd surfing, first mosh, or first emo pop-punk metal show. The fans are here and happy to receive more bands like this.
Don’t miss these bands as they travel next to Hamilton on July 9.
