Old-school rock ’n’ roll met youthful energy as Nicholas Campbell & The Metre Cheaters brought their vintage-inspired sound to Kingston. Blending rockabilly, country, western swing and honky-tonk, Campbell and his band deliver a sound that feels straight out of rock ’n’ roll’s golden era while keeping it fresh and exciting.

Campbell’s smooth, crooning vocals and guitar skills are at the heart of the performance, backed by a band that brings the rhythm, musicianship and groove to keep things moving. Their sound captures the spirit of a bygone musical era, packed with character, infectious energy and a whole lot of attitude.

With a sound that celebrates the roots of rock ’n’ roll while bringing its own personality to the stage, Nicholas Campbell & The Metre Cheaters prove that great music never goes out of style. It was an evening for lovers of vintage sounds, toe-tapping rhythms and the timeless magic of live music.

Special guest Tim Sheffield, added a local touch to the evening, making it a memorable night for Kingston music fans. With decades of performing and songwriting behind him, Sheffield has built a musical journey that refuses to be boxed into one genre.

Another great night of live music, brought to you by Kingston Live and Blues for Women!
