The Harmony Lounge & Music Club has released its second youth-produced album, Origin Story Vol. II, now streaming on all major platforms. The eight-track project represents a full year of songwriting, collaboration, and studio learning by emerging musicians from the Belleville-Napanee-Kingston region.

Produced by Isaac Harvey, a Harmony alumnus and 2024 graduate of Ernestown Secondary School, Origin Story Vol. II showcases a new wave of young songwriters, performers, and producers. The album was made possible through generous support from the Community Foundation for Lennox & Addington.

“Every track on this album tells a story of growth,” said Michelle Hauser, Creative Director of the Harmony Lounge & Music Club. “These young artists took on everything—from songwriting and arrangement to recording and production—and they created something that’s both authentic and inspiring.”

The album features original music by Jade Peter, Brielle Manderson & Atlas Rossborough, Brock Pettifer, Isaac Harvey, Ryland Murray, Joe Hauser, Willow Foley, and Kingston-based indie band TwoTime.

Each track was recorded and mixed at the Harmony Lounge studio in Napanee, with mentoring support from experienced local musicians. Origin Story Vol. II follows the success of Harmony’s 2023 debut compilation and continues the organization’s mission to give young people hands-on experience in music creation, performance, and production.
