Juvenis Battle of the Bands call for submissions
The annual Juvenis Festival is calling on Kingston musicians aged 13 to 30 years old to submit their applications for this year’s Battle of the Bands, which is scheduled to take place Saturday, May 6, 2023 in Springer Market Square.
Bands who want to do battle on May 6 can apply now here. Submissions close March 24, 2023.
“This year we are excited to announce that we will have several different age brackets, all with unique prizes,” says Lauren Carson, the festival’s Youth Project Leader for Battle of the Bands.
The Juvenis Festival also announced a new initiative that pairs participating musicians with a mentor—including established musicians, music industry workers, and more—for coaching before their Battle of the Bands performance. Those interested in being a mentor can apply here.
